What types of work can day laborers do?

There are many workers with experience in: carpentry, roofing, landscaping, plumbing, digging, excavating, demolition, painting, moving, masonry, drywall, plastering, janitorial, cleaning, general labor, and welding/soldering.

Our staff at the Day Laborer Hire Site is bilingual and will help you to find the right worker for the write job.

What kind of wages do I pay?

The workers have established a minimum wage of $10/hour for general labor, with higher wages recommended for skilled or extra difficult work.

What about transportation?

Day Laborers are available to be pick up at the Hire Site. Workers can also be sent by bus, though is best to arrange it in advance so that directions are as clear as possible.

How do I get there?

We are located at 240 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd between NE Davis and Everett St. just 2 blocks away from the Convention Center. We are close to the Interstate 84 entrance/exit making our center very accessible.

Hours of operation?

Open Monday to Saturday, 6am-noon.
